National Philanthropy Day is the special day set aside to recognize and pay tribute to the great contributions that philanthropy – and those people active in the philanthropic community – have made to our lives, our communities, and our world.

Jacksonville's 2010 celebration will be held on Wednesday, November 10th at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Jacksonville. The luncheon will honor individuals, organizations, foundations, corporations, youth and young professionals for exceptional and impactful philanthropic and volunteer contributions in Jacksonville. Hundreds of people from the community will come together to recognize the accomplishments of award recipients.

On this site you can make individual or table reservations for the First Coast National Philanthropy Day. As a benefit of AFP Membership, if you reserve a table, you can pay tribute to a philanthropist or organization that you wish to recognize as your table Honoree. Use this site to submit a 100 word essay tribute, photo of your Honoree and your organization’s logo for publication in the National Philanthropy Day program.
